The Fall Involvement Fair will fill Shaw Quadrangle with excitement this week. Beyond the Quad, pick up a new hobby in the Barnes Center at the New Climbers Community Climb Night.

Fall Involvement Fair
From Monday to Wednesday, 200 registered student organizations at Syracuse University will table on Shaw Quadrangle for this year’s Fall Involvement Fair. The first day will feature cultural performances and special interest clubs. Public service, publications, club sports, sports interest and esports groups will continue the fair on the second day. Rounding out the fair are honors groups, religious organizations, fraternities and sororities. In the event of rain, the fair will be hosted in Schine Student Center’s Goldstein Auditorium.
When: Monday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Shaw Quadrangle

New Climbers Community Climb Night
Have you ever wanted to take up climbing but were too nervous to give it a first shot? Join a group of climbers at the Barnes Center at The Arch Climbing Wall for a Community Climb Night. While the event is intended for new climbers, everyone is welcome. No registration is required.
When: Monday from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
Where: Barnes Center Climbing Wall

Ganesha Chaturthi Pooja
Celebrate the god of wisdom, Ganesha Chaturthi Pooja, this week at Hendricks Chapel. The Hindu holiday honors Lord Ganesha, the god of prosperity and good fortune. The holiday began on Sept. 7 and celebrations continue until Sept. 17. Hendricks’ Hindu Chaplaincy and the Hindu Students Association will offer programming and food throughout the night.
When: Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Hendricks Chapel: Reflection in Remembrance of 9/11
At Hendricks Chapel, members of the SU community can honor the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The space will be open for reflection from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
When: Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2024 Coming Back Together
Coming Back Together is a triennial event for Black and Latino alumni to connect with students on campus. The event is sold out for alumni, but current students can still join certain programming throughout the weekend. To kick off the event, some Syracuse Athletics alumni will compete in a CBT Celebrity Basketball Game. Proceeds will go toward the Women’s Basketball Head Coach’s Fund.
